LED and solar lighting

All the lights on the campsite have been replaced with LED bulbs, allowing a significant reduction in power consumption of the campsite. Whenever possible, we install motion detectors to avoid forgetting to turn off the lights.

A new feature is the’path lighting is now solar-powered and self-sufficient.

And yes, it's possible, even in Normandy!

We have replaced the old “ball” lampposts, which consumed a lot of energy and were harmful to nocturnal fauna, with light cells directed solely towards the ground, each equipped with a "ball". integrated photovoltaic panel. In order to limit the ecological impact and cost of the work, The existing posts were retained.
The lighting is now softer, better directed, and intensifies only when a walker passes by thanks to a presence detector useful light that respects nature and the starry sky!

Electric vehicles soft mobility in everyday life

At the campsite, technical teams are on the move every day to maintain the facilities, ensure the comfort of holidaymakers and bring life to the site. For several years now electric buggies are an integral part of the camping and outdoor atmosphere.
In addition, the seasonal workers use electric cargo bikes for their internal journeys, a practical, silent and emission-free means of transport.
And to take things even further, a electric car is now used for outside travel.

From simple but powerful gestures, that contribute to the common goal of camping: reduce emissions and move towards zero carbon on-site, while preserving the user-friendliness and fluidity of the service.
